What a great campground. I found this when the place I wanted was full. I too was welcomed with open arms in spite of having no reservation. The staff/owner was extremely friendly and very helpful. The sites are all concrete pads w/ a patio and table. The place is very new and the trees are small, I'd imagine years from now there might be some nice shade. Yes the airport and plane traffic was noticeable, but not loud enough to wake me or disturb me while listening to radio or TV. Very easy in and out - my site was a "back in", though there were a few pull-through at the end each row. I hadn't specified a pull-through, and had no trouble backing in. The sites and roads are plenty wide. The shower was great (note the place is very new) and a hot tub which was a delight for a long soak after a shower. I was close enough to the intended destination (Graceland) I'd be more than willing to stay at this park again. Very easy to get to and well worth the trip.

A nice enough place, tough a little on the old side, Seemed to have several full time almost residents, the area for the short term use was strangely laid out. With nose to tail pull thru sites very close to each other. The trees were very close and caused concern for the slides or vents and AC unit on the roof. Rain was in torrential the day and night before so the roadway and sites were a little sloppy, but manageable. CATV, electrical and water hook-ups were fine. The sewer line was a partially buried 6" line that had several openings to allow my sewer hose to connect, though the flow was from mine thru the hook up for the adjacent site then toward the street to join the others (I guess). Still, there was no problem, just strange. I arrived early in the day and was met by a very helpful staff member (before official office hours) who showed me to several sites and allowed me to take my pick , set up and "sign in later". The interstate is very close (but not noisy) -just under construction so getting on the highway was a problem but no fault of the campground. All in all a nice enough place, maybe a little tired and could use a face lift. Valuable enough to use again next time I'm here.

This is indeed a nice little park. Quite away from town and therefore very poor Verizon cellular signal (which is why I'm moving and docking them a point). Had planned to stay 3 months - was having to pay 600 a month including an extra 50 as my site had a concrete patio. My site was roomy and had lots of space around it during the week. Weekends this place fills up w/ folks -tenters and RVs - here for the lake activities, and can thereby be a little more hectic and noisy then, but not overly so. What do you expect? It is on a lake and is made for recreation. The playground is basic bare bones, but on the lake just a couple minutes walk from the farthest away site. The drive to town is more than a little long, but honestly, if the cell signal was better, staying here would be really great. Management was very helpful and they are working hard to keep the place clean and nice. Maybe once this drought really ends the grass will grow back and become lush. WiFi was good - though a few times it seemed to do some sort of function check that required me to reboot every now and then. Really wouldn't mind staying here longer. Come and enjoy.

As stated in previous evaluations, this is a great place for adults and those who need the services of the very nearby Medical Center. I was there for a little more than 3 months, and this place suited my needs to a "T". The staff was very friendly and most helpful. The mentioned problem with narrow roads and the tightness is very real and the sites are a little close to each other. Even with these remarks, I would still recommend this place for those with similar needs.

What a nice municipal park, right on the lake. I was there for longer than the 14 day limit - though I had to move to an adjacent site, but hey, I needed to dump tanks anyway so had to drive to dump station. I parked parallel to road vs perpendicular which allowed me to "pull thru" to both sites. I had seen someone else do it. The drive to the main road was a good 6-7 miles, then several to many miles to town. At times I was the only camper there, but it was late in year. Thanksgiving Friday to X-mas week. Staff member was initially hard-nosed about the 14 day limit, but relented when I was the only paying customer. Was forced to scale down to reduce expenses is why I chose it in first place. Can imagine how busy this place is in Spring or Summer. Monster picnic and tent area. The washrooms were just a notch above primitive but clean. Might very well stay here again sometime when not on a forced vacation. My PC's air card worked very well and was able to point the sat dish thru the trees enough to have that. Like I said, what a nice municipal park. Both my sites the 50 amp worked.

Was back again, had stayed in Jan '08 and rated it then - water pressure wasn't the damaging level I was warned, but like before it is nice to be told. I picked up a pressure gauge right after I left that time, so was able to stay on top of that potential problem. Was in almost exact same site I was in Jan, so same remarks hold true. Would like to see the pricing match the facility, as a little high for what you get. Can't see calling it a "resort". Staff is extremely helpful and guided me to site and lined me up as before. CATV was great and stay was short enough to not fool w/ Sat TV, used my PC's air card so not sure if or how WI-FI worked. Be sure to bring the CASH for your gate card, but I think they warn you about that when you reserve your place. Moved to a municipal campground to save money, though have used this place before and would again, for a short stay though.

A pretty good park, was a great home for the 3 months plus that I stayed there. My neighbor had been there for 10 years. Was relegated to long term area, where it was more cramped, but it was fine. Had a minor hiccup w/ the power box, but it was repaired quickly. This web-site said it had CATV, but when I inquired at the office, they asked where did I ever get such a silly idea. Was lucky and didn't have to vacate my site for the Balloon Fiesta (as was told I might when I booked the place). Yeah, book very early for anywhere in that area for the first two weeks of October. Zero landscaping and southwest desert made for lots of blowing sand and silt invading EVERYWHERE in camper. The management was very helpful and friendly. They went on a sprucing-up binge right before Fiesta time and made the place look very nice, though the phrase "silk purse and sow's ear" sprang to mind. Suffered minor damage in hail storm (cant blame them) but the very frequent winds did make me happy to leave. Hope to vacation there sometime to have more time to see the balloons. WI-FI didn't work well at my end of park, but my PC's air card worked fine. No CATV is why I now own a Sat system.

Big rig friendly, I don't think so. Very tight, cramped sites. Not very level. Busy highway w/i a stone's throw w/ quite a lot of emergency vehicular traffic. Really have to be on your toes to find the entrance (Between McDonalds and Taco Bell. Made to seem worse ad set up and take down was in rain. As said by others kinda pricey for what it offered. Was there for 2 nights, would not have wanted to stay very much longer. Not sure if I'd use it again. Didn't attempt to use the WI-FI, rather used my AIR card which worked well.

A great place for a stop over, my site was a little close to neighbor, but might have had a little more spacing if I had been staying longer. Not exactly level, but was able correct that. Didn't use the WI-FI, but CATV was good. Very helpful staff, led me to the site and guided me in easily enough. Didn't use any facilities, had driven 13 - 14 hours and dined out and went to bed. Was far away from traffic noises, yet easy on/off the interstate. Will keep it in mind if I am that way again. No problem getting the site just dropping in.

Nice place, though I used it just for a stop-over while whizzing north. Seemed to be nicely laid out. easy to get to. Am sure to keep it in mind again.

Just there for a few days (3), a nice enough place, had to have help get the power lines moved over the top of the camper on pulling into site. Helpful staff and workers. Didn't put too much effort into trying to align antenna for TV, just limped along on the one or two that were somewhat clear enough to watch. Graded site was very close to level. Will gladly return though (close to family). Close to highway and some noise there, but barely noticeable when inside camper.

Bait and switch, I was told I'd get "a better site" right away, but that never happened. Was there for 3 months, literally squeezed on to a site where I could easily reach out any window and touch the side of the neighbor. The whole place is fairly dedicated to long termers, though there were a few in and outers. Some folks there long enough to have vegetation grow up around them. The manager was really great, friendly and helpful, actually the only saving grace about the whole place. Yeah, it was downtown (helped getting to work). Cable was there, but I was tapped in w/o the CATV company knowing. No WiFi though was said to be coming soon. Don't really plan on returning though.

This is a great place, was able to get a place w/ only 1/2 hour call enroute. Staff very helpful and escort willingly hooked up power and offered to do rest in spite of pouring rain. The "nose to tail" sites really do work well, though I had # 1 in a row so was simple to pull in to, might have to wiggle a little to leave. WIFI gliched (on my end I think, though) so used air card w/ good signal. Terriffic CATV, full hook-ups are just that w/ double sewer (a little close to left side neighbor - but workable). Heavy rains did not pool long, some bald spots in the grass. Lots of parrots and other animals, no problem w/ their noises. Highway noticable every now and then a Jake brake, otherwise, kind of like at the beach. They do a lot of business w/ in and outers as well as larger groups. Highly reccommend this one and will keep it in mind on my expected returns.

A nice place, walked in cold w/ easy access to interstate, far enough away to escape the traffic noise. Friendly staff at desk, but no escort to site. Cornering was very tight indeed for me w/ 35' camper and truck. Saw incoming neighbor struggle w/ 40'+ motor home. Sites were narrow, so my slides overhung the next site. Hookups (esp sewer) were w/i a few feet of neighbor's picnic table. The long term sites might have been better, but can't see staying long at site I used (# 9). Didn't use the wifi, but loved the catv.

Great location, very helpful staff. Excellent CATV and WIFI. Was pleased to be warned about the water pressure before I did any damage. Quite a few full time setups. Kind of crowded, sites were almost on top of each other. Narrow streets and tight corners. Iffy to be called a resort.

Yeah, a good place for a quick overnight at best. A little cramped making the corners tight. Sites were long enough to keep truck hooked to camper. WIFI acted up a little, so I switched to the phone/air card. Place was wedged between the interstate and a railroad, but the price for quick on/off access. CATV, only 4 channels, nothing to brag about. Yeah, only overnight.

Great for stop and go, though there were some full timers there. Amenities listed a McDonald's as an attraction, nothing much close by. Large pull through site w/ full hook-up, but no patio or tables I could see (as listed). Staff was helpful and walked me to the site, but had no clue as how to get a CATV channel listing. Gated security requiring a pass key and very clean place. Looked rather new. Didn't try the WIFI but the CATV had a wide selection. Again see it as a quick stop rather than a home.

This is a great park in a ideal location. Yes the airport is close and the planes are frequently loud, but it is due to the almost right on top of the strip location of both. Getting around was very easy. Access to the park and from the park was a snap. The WiFi was "down for a few days" and therefore I didn't have to pay (not sure I would have as used my air card for my lap-top). The pull thru site I had was well appointed if a little close to the neighbors. I didn't use the pool but the area looked pretty good and the lobby and registration area gives you the feeling of entering a grand hotel. The staff was very helpful. No escort to the site, but detailed directions made it easy to find. I look very much forward to returning.

Nice clean new looking place. Completely gravel w/ no marking on ground indicating the site width. Sites were very large/wide. Picnic table on concrete slab within just a couple of feet of your neighbor's hook-ups, sewer included. Highway a very short stone's throw to one side and double railroad a couple hundred feet to other. Not worth the high price paid for quick in and out while heading west. Too many others for much less to warrant returning here.

A good park, more trailer park than campground. Full of winter residents lots of park models as well as RV models that were firmly attached to the ground. Only saw a very few "in and outers" or overnighters. Was/am staying for 3 months (rate for month was very reasonable even paying my own electric). John and Mary are wonderful hosts and were on top of everything and were there to help with set up or any other needs. Sites had a concrete pad (no table) and most had the obligatory palm tree (no shade). Gravel throughout with well paved roads. Sites are wide enough to back in to w/o problem, but once done, parking the truck was very close to the neighbors. This part of the state/city is full of RV parks and most are 55+ places. I guess, I'm glad I qualify, though not fully retired yet. WiFi flickered at times but air card back up got great signal. Too bad there was no CATV, especially for prolonged stays. Made a great home there, though.

This is an OK place, a little old, but trying to get it together. Nice helpful staff. Sites were a mix of gravel, concrete or half/half. WiFi worked well, and no real noise from highway, the trains could be heard, but not too loud. Can't see using it as a long term place, but ideal for a stop over. Easy access to highway. Was sited at the back near what looked to be owner's house. Pancake breakfast was nice touch. Hope CATV arrives soon.

What an absolute gem. Just off the highway and easy to find and get into - some highway noise - a price to pay for ease of access. This charming place out in the middle of almost nowhere is run by very friendly staff. The Kafe was closed as the "cook hit the road". I was just whizzing thru but would liked to have had time to spend a day or two playing on the lake. WiFi worker well, too bad no CATV, thought a few stations come thru from Tulsa. Going to try to hit this place again.

A very nicely appointed place. Easy enough to get to. Getting downtown was a snap. Not sure if in Tenn or Georgia, but no matter. Gravel sites and roads w/ main drag paved. Had no problem extending my stay by one day, total 3 nites. This place has everything I needed and I would very much like to return.

This is an older place in need of a face lift. Located right off the interstate with the expected traffic sound. Right on the flight path for the air base with quite a number of planes overhead. The pool was green and full of floating plastic bottles w/ one small hose attempting to re-fill it. Nearby train traffic competed w/ the planes. There were many big rigs and the place was fairly full, but the sites were fairly close. The WiFi was iffy and the cable had a limited number of channels, two of which were movies being shown from the office. Not sure if I'd use this place again, even as I did, just to stay overnight.

A wonderful place with a great staff. The sites are spacious and varied from grass to gravel. Plenty of shaded sites as well as wide open. Very well maintained and easy on the eyes. Definitely a keeper.

Was a first time full-time camper. Stayed just one week less than a full year. Bill and family took care of me like family. Friendly from the first contact to the last. Bill taught me so much. Several others were long term as well but many "in and outers". Close to town and all attractions. Made lots of friends w/ other visitors. Willing to return any time.

A very nice park, with updates on-going. A little crowded, but could get rig in w/o too much trouble, few truly level sites as all full h/u on bare ground (no gravel much less say pavement). At very edge of cell phone range and no wifi at each site (yet ?). Loved the Sat. morn breakfast, weather chased me away from the bonfire. Would return anytime.
